I’ve been able to meet some incredible people while out on TDB tours and i wanted to share a little bit about Stephen. Last year I met Stephen David in California, a couple of months before he first went to be a part of YWAM in Townsville Queensland Australia. Since meeting he’s done nothing but go out his way to help everyone he can, including me. It’s a long story but he drove all the way from Riverside, CA to Disneyland to save me from a trip gone bad. Found a place for me to stay for the night with some of his friends and even dropped me off at the airport the next day. So now it’s my chance to help him out. He’s raising money to return to Australia and rejoin ywam as a volunteer. Here’s more from Stephen:
“My passion and dream is to be able to go out into the world and show everyone I encounter, regardless of race, social or economic status, or religion, that I love them and want to show them the compassion that has been shown towards me.
I will be doing this by going back to australia to continue writing stories from outreaches (http://www.ywamrto.org/connecting-with-the-people-of-newcastle-by-stephen-david) (http://www.ywamrto.org/finding-hope-palm-islan) as well as setting up writing workshops for students who come through the ywam program that exists In Townsville Queensland Australia. The base there has a medical ship that travels north to Papua New Guinea for a total of 6 months out of the year, every year since it has arrived. This ship provides medical, dental, and optometry aid for free to the people there who come for help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4lOqwRT9ME
In order for me to do this I need to raise the money to go out, and stay out there as a volunteer. I dont do this for an income, I do this because there is a world of broken hearts and people, that i want to help mend, and you can be a part of that dream as well. please consider donating either one time or monthly. I will also take down emails if you send them my way to send constant updates and my facebook is facebook.com/stephengrenade as well if you would like to add me, contact me, anything further with questions on how to donate or interest in general.”
I’d love to see him get back out there and continue doing what he’s been doing. I’ve already personally committed to helping him get back out there. And I’like to give you a chance to help him out too.
please consider donating any amount you can, anything all helps.
